JR Armadàs is a journalist and writer who spent 2007 and 2008 working in China as a journalist. Of the three novels that he has published, two are set in China. In “La cicatriu del fill” (The Child´s Scar), Armadás builds upon his first published book, “La cicatriu de la mare” (The Mother´s Scar) and incorporates China into the plot through martial arts.
